About me

Early Beginnings: My journey into picture editing kicked off in my youth, thanks to my dad installing editing software on my computer. From that moment, I was hooked—constantly tweaking colors, playing with contrasts, and giving free rein to my imagination.

The portrait of me you see? One of my initial deep dives into editing, spending hours perfecting it. The dream? To carve a living out of my art & design.

Dive deeper into my story through interviews for Serif (in english) and for Affinitytutorials (in German). #ArtisticGenesis #DreamingInColor 🎨💻

How I create

Studio Vibes:
Just a heads up—this is the spot where the magic happens. I'm all about keeping it neat so I can dive deep into creating and editing without distractions. Here's a fun tidbit: I've realized my creative juices flow more in the evening than during daylight hours. 🌙✨ #CreativityAfterDark

Editing Setup: I roll with a 16-inch Apple Macbook for my creative grind, and Affinity Photo is my go-to editing software—it's been a game-changer since I made the switch. Christmas granted my wish for a graphics tablet, and now I'm hooked. Currently rocking the Wacom Intuos Pro in size M. Music is my editing companion, and it varies with my mood—electronic beats or the latest pop charts usually set the vibe. 🖥️✨🎶 #CreativeFlow

Sketching first.

Creative Prelude: Before diving into the digital realm, I kick off my process with an analog touch—sketching my ideas with a trusty pencil. Coffee in hand, tunes playing, I take a moment to absorb inspiration from my surroundings, gazing out the window.

Yet, the real magic often unfolds during the editing phase. If a concept hits a roadblock, I explore alternative routes, frequently stumbling upon unexpected results. The creative journey is influenced by my mood and various factors, with evenings proving to be my sweet spot for generating ideas.

Now, about those sketches—they're typically rough and loose, serving as a compass to find the right concepts. Notes and quick lines for perspective and lighting direction often find their way onto the paper. 🎨✏️ #CreativeProcess #AnalogMagic
